What We Believe

This church accepts the Scriptures as its authority in matters of faith and practice.

  • We believe that the scriptrues of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God and the all-sufficient rule of faith and practice.
  • There is one living and true God, existing in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory.
  • This triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all.
  • God the Father is the creator of all, sent His one and only Son into the world so that human beings might come to Him.
  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior of the world.
  • Through His life, death, and resurrection an atonement was made for sin, and redemption was provided for all humanity.
  • Repentance from sin and the acceptance of Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior is the one and only way whereby humanity can find meaning in life and achieve eternal life in heaven.
  • The Holy Spirit regenerates the souls of all believers and brings them into a saved relationship with God.
  • The Holy Spirit is the Comforter and Guide of all who believe.
  • At the end of the age, non-believers will be condemned and believers will enter eternal life in the presence of God.
